Gradebook for the Common core

For the most part, I like the Common Core Standards for math and how direct it can sometimes be with examples. That can also be the more overwhelming part for me a times. I want to make sure that all of my students are mastering the standards, but this past school year I found it to be a challenge to truly know how each student was progressing with each standard.

This summer I have had some time to think about how to best make this progress visible to parents, students, teachers, and administrators, and I ended with a detailed Excel spreadsheet system that color-codes for you!  Just enter the grade and there you go - blue, green, yellow, or red indicators for each student so that you can easily see who might need intervention or an extra challenge for each standard.  See the link below for the product!  Right now I have 2nd and 3rd grade math standards available and will soon offer many more elementary and middle school grades!
